The big day dawns all too soon for some. It's a shame that the convention had to take place so early in the day because despite
some breakfast and a number of head pills Seedy, amongst others, was feeling decidedly rough when the gang gathered outside the
generator to head off to Tufnell Park. The Dutch Ants looked ready and raring to go - in their matching "friend of a friend" tshirts!
It was probably just as well that we had decided to leave at 11am, because in the end we didn't manage to start moving until
nearly half past! Bel was looking good - "give me an exit"
After negotiating the underground we finally made it to the Dome, despite the heat and the hangovers. We all piled out of
the station to find that not only was there a TV crew there filming for an Adam and The Ants documentary, but the Ant
Liberation Front were there in force handing out copies of their quarterly magazine, "No Response", and advertising the only active
Adam and the Ants Fanclub.
Also in the queue we met up with Seedy's sister Jo, and the gang was complete. We all troop inside and most people head
for the merchandise stalls (remind me how much you spent again DG....!!) before heading upstairs for some "hair of the dog".
You feeling allright there Jude ??
Although Jo may not be an Ant fan - she certainly knows how to party with the best of them!!
The afternoon rocks on - everyone chatting and having a laugh, with some serious thrashing around going on on the dancefloor.
I'm sure that the fact the the TV crew were filming the dancing had nothing to do with it !
